Info on Anabelle Flores

Here is some information on Anabelle Flores provided by Jo Ellen (Corbitt) Guthrie. One of the purposes of any missionary reunion is to bring people together again who served the Lord together for awhile. If you knew Sister Flores, perhaps you can make an effort to contact her and let her know that we remember her as a part of our mission, especially at this time as we are planning our reunion.

“Ana was my last companion. We served together in David. Her father was the Stake President in Escazu for about 15 years. She has two daughters, the oldest, Maria Jose, died of leukemia in 2001, a month before her 8th birthday. Her second daughter, Karina, is now 6, I believe.

I think of Ana and of the opportunity that this reunion could be for people who knew her, either as a girl in Escazu, or as a missionary, to contact her and give her support. She's been through an awful lot in the last couple of years. Fortunately she has a wonderful, supportive family, but how great it would be for others who wanted to contact her to have this information, too.”
