Colleen Harris White Lee

From sandals/tan to snow/ski boots, life marches on. I graduated from BYU in Art/Design, married a cute cowboy from Dugway, Utah, and had 2 miracle daughters. Then, as I had probably enthusiastically agreed to in the pre-existence, became a widow when he was killed in an accident, leaving us with no insurance and on our own. I worked several jobs, left my kids alone a lot (they're not ax murderers yet), did post-graduate work in instructional technology, became a librarian and built a house in Springville.

After 10 years I remarried.  The Bishop lined us up so what could I do? We still strive to "blend", with 5 daughters, ages now 22, 21, 20, 17, 15 and picked-on son Billy at 13. Mike owns a Design Studio, RRO, in Provo. I now do research/freelance/etc. on the side, and my other part-time job is singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Yup, that's me on the back row, the tall one whose German always sounds like Spanish.

The mission is still one of my sweetest batch of memories, both the people and the places. If I ever lose my mind I'll be the wild gringa vieja there on the jungle. In the meantime, buena suerte a todos, it sounds like we all keep marchando-ing along.
