Bio of Dana Doggett

Married to Christine. Children: Tommy 20 (currently serving mission in Portland, Oregon), Mari 18, Hana 15, Alexandra 9, Conner 7, Robert 2 months. My family is the biggest blessing in my life. I've got kids that think it's neat to attend Know Your Religion with me! I LOVE having teenage daughters!

I work with the young men. I'm currently the Deacons' Q Advisor and Scout Master. Currently, 100% of the deacons in my ward are active and progressing nicely towards their Eagle Scout. Windsurfing has become a passion in my life. Since becoming a Scoutmaster, I've had to tone-down my surfing addition, but it still simmers just below the surface.

I have a BS from BYU in Electronics Engineering Technologies and a MS from BYU in Computer Science. I work with computers. I was the 7th engineer at Novell. I later started a small software company which was acquired by Intel in the early 90's. I stayed with Intel through the 90's and am currently starting another software company (www.lanschool.com).

Areas served: Deamparados, Calon, Nicoya, Tegucigalpa. My mission was clearly the most influential part of my life. I love working in the Young Men's program where I can directly encourage youth to the same path. I look forward with eagerness to my next mission.
