Bio of Jeffrey Shepherd

Spouse: Marie.  Children:  Brooke Redd (22), Casey (20), McCall (16), Shelby (10).  Brooke, our oldest has been married a little over a year.  No children yet.  She and her husband are finishing degrees at WSU.  Brooke is going into graphic design, her husband Mark-dentistry.  Casey is serving a mission in S. Korea.  He is a district leader and has been out 15 months and loves it.  Loves to fly-fish and has a gift at playing the piano.  McCall just got her license.  She is sophomore at Bonneville High.  She loves soccer and plays on the school team.  She also has a gift at the piano.  And she loves boys!!  Shelby is our sweetheart.  She gets straight A's in school (as do all three of the other kids).

I am currently 2nd counselor in the bishopric (hope that doesn't shake anyone's testimony).  I love to spend time at the family cabin in the Uintah Mountains and fly fish.  But most of all I love to spend time with my family.  After the mission, I finished a degree at WSU in Ogden.  Then dental school for 4 years in Portland Oregon, and then finished up in Indianapolis for two years for my orthodontic training.  I am now an Orthodontist.  I have two offices, one in Ogden and the other in Eden (Utah).  I am presently president of the Utah Association of Orthodontists

Comps: Frame, Urklens, Gifford, Webb, Connell, Lundell, Belliston, Stone, Clawson, Howard, Malone, Wing, Pinkston, Quinto.  Areas Served: Heredia and Desemparados Costa Rica, San Pedro Sula Honduras, Santa Cruz/Guanacaste Costa Rica, Managua Nicaragua, David Panama.  I'll never forget the baptismal service we had out in a small stream in the jungle of Guanacaste with monkeys watching from the trees above us. I will always remember my mission as the most challenging and rewarding time of my life.  The foundation of my testimony of the gospel was laid during that time.  I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to serve the people in CA.
