Bio of Mark Pugmire

Family: Married Karen Risenmay. Children: Kristen 23, Laura 21, Melissa 19, Steven 15 and Brian 13. We currently live in Ferndale, Washington about 12 miles south of the Canadian border and have been here 9 years. Previously, we lived 12 years in Utah. My wife is from Idaho Falls and we've been married 24 years. We have five children: Kristen is married and expecting in November (me a grandpa? yikes!), Laura is entering the MTC in October (on her way to Tegucigalpa!), Melissa is attending BYU, Steven is in high school and Brian is in middle school.

Church: I have had the opportunity to serve in many capacities: Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, ward financial clerk, elders quorum secretary and president, ward young men president and counselor, ward executive secretary, bishopric counselor and stake clerk. I am currently serving as a counselor in our combined elders/high priests quorum.

Education: I attended BYU and graduated in 1981 with a B.S. in computer science.

Work: I work for Attachmate Corporation as a computer programmer.

Hobbies: I enjoy gardening, reading, singing, volleyball and soccer.
