Bio of Rahn Price

Family: Spouse: Susan Harvie.  Children: Nathan - 26 (married with one child), Marisa - 24, Jarom - 22, Kirstin - 19, Erin - 17, Daniel - 14, Rachelle – 10 and Ammon – 6.  I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and terrific children. They are avid readers and about as "steadfast and immoveable" in the gospel as a father could hope for.

Church: Served in Elder's Quorum Presidency, Elder's Quorum President, Ward Mission Leader, Ward Executive Secretary, Bishop, High Councilor. My favorite calling was Gospel Doctrine Instructor. My least challenging calling was Elder's Quorum Librarian (at BYU married ward - my job was to get chalk for the Elder's Quorum Instructor. :) Currently serving as Stake Executive Secretary.

Education: Received BA from Brigham Young University in the School of Accountancy.

Work: Self-employed. I have a small accounting practice of primarily tax clients. I also am a partner in an Insurance TPA firm (Third-Party Administrators). I have a particular interest in computer management and programming. I am a Microsoft Certified System Engineer -- but use my interest in this field mostly to benefit my business rather than consulting work.

Hobbies: Reading. Computer programming. Racquetball. Spending time with my lovely wife and children.

Community Service: I admit I'm a bit "thin" in this area. I served for a year on our cities Ministerial Council. It is an organization of community ministers who come together monthly to talk about ways to improve the community. I was serving with this group when the high school shooting at Santana, which claimed 2 student's lives, took place. (I live across the street from Santana High School - two of my daughters were attending at the time.)

Comps: I'm a bit hazy here. Sorry. I'll go back through my old materials. I know that I started with Elder Quinonez, then Elder Stephen Todd (Elder Sapo :) ). I believe next was Elder Jensen. I went to the mission office next and after that it is a bit hazy.

Areas Served: San Pedro Sula, Alajuela, San Jose, Tegucigalpa, Managua.
