Bio of Scott Beatse

Children: Ryan - 21, Vanessa - 20, Briana - 15, Marissa - 13, Carson – 10 Family: I have the greatest, most patient, loving children who have a very undeserving father.

Church Service: My church service life is mostly "been there, done most everything" most of it probably poorly. Served as Bishop for about 18 months until my wife left me and I was divorced. Yes, I'm still considered a member of the church even though I am divorced.

Education: BS (microbiology) - BYU 1984, MS (microbiology) - BYU 1985, MD - Tulane University 1989, OB/GYN Residency in San Antonio, TX till 1993.

Work: Very busy OB/GYN practice in Southeastern Wisconsin. Hobbies: Skiing, Diving, Cycling, Golf ?, Spending time with the kids.

Areas Served: Desamparados, CR, San Pedro Sula (Fesitranh), Hond, Chitre, Panama, Ustupu, San Blas, Balboa, Panama and then Playon Chico, San Blas.

The mission was an amazing experience and probably the only thing that will get me anywhere close to the celestial kingdom. My companions were amazing men who I am sure have grown to be truly wonderful brethren in the church. The sisters that I remember, Gayheart and Reed, were, and still are, great memories. Thanks
