Bio of Scott Budge

Family: Married to Natalie Budge.  I have 6 children all girls but 5.   I have a son, 23 years old and a returned missionary from the Manose Brazil mission.  A son who is 20 is currently in the Oklahoma, Oklahoma City mission.  BYU and the University of Utah recruited him for football.  He decided to play for a Division II school upon returning to get in shape and hopes to play in a Division I school.  We have a son who is 18 and graduating from High School.  Also have a son who is 14 and in High School. We have a daughter who is12 in middle school and I am not biased but she is awesome.  Finally, we have a son who is 4 years old.  OK, you figure it out.  I was a little old for this one but he is the best thing that happened to our family.

I have a wonderful wife and family.  Raising 5 boys and a girl has been a challenge, especially in the teenage years.  Colby my 20-year-old football player is 310 lbs and 6'5".  He is a stud.  His weight came from me but the stud from his mother.  Chris is my 23-year-old computer geek.  He is into computers in school and at home.  He has taught all of my children how to play games on the internet.  Even my 4 year old has been a player to reckon with.

Callings: You name it I have done it.  Well almost.  I have not been a bishop but a counselor, also High Priest group leader.  You get the jest.  The best is my current position of Gospel Doctrine teacher.  Education: Weber State University (college at the time) was my school.  Career: I am the Vice President of Operations with America First Credit Union.  I have been with them 24 years.  It has been a good job.  My wife works for Mckay Dee Hospital in Ogden in the Lab.  Hobbies: Golf, or now that I am getting old, any sport that I can watch on the television.  Community Service: Church takes care of this area.  We do a lot of service projects.

Areas Served: I served in Panama City, San Pedro Sula, San Jose and Managua.  Memories: As a zone leader we had the privilege of conducting baptisms in the ocean. I have great memories of a family we taught after talking to the husband on a bus.  He is now in the stake presidency and married in the temple.  I visited a little bit with them a while back when they came to conference.  The mission was a challenge in speaking the language but I loved the people.  Food I would question if presented to eat now but awesome to have lived with families to learn and feel of their love.
