Less than 12 days to go to the reunion.  We are up to 370 RSVPs and 150 bios submitted.  There is still time to RSVP and still time to submit your bio.  The deadline for prepaying for dinner ($15 per person) is this Saturday Sept 27th.  If you have not sent your checks to Brent Romney (5003 Victor St. Dallas, TX 75214) by this Saturday then you should plan to pay at the door.

Do not mail checks after this Saturday or they will not be received in time.  Your RSVP status is noted on the web page.  Check there first before sending another email to RSVP.  The web page is located at: http://3tcm.dock.net/CostaRicaMissionAlumni.htm.  Also, if you are coming to the reunion but are not going to be joining us for dinner, please send me an email.  We need to have an accurate count for the caterer.

Because of the large turnout we are going to need a little help at 7:20 from everyone to take down all the tables and set up the chairs.  Shauna Hooper is also requesting help from those living in the Salt Lake area with the logistics of setting up before the reunion.  If you can help with the setup please contact her directly.

Shauna especially needs help with getting some tables from the Stake Center to the building where we will be meeting.  So if you have a truck and can help, or would like to help in any way to make it easier for Shauna, please email her at Shaunahooper@cs.com. You may also reach her by phone: (801) 763-1577 or (801) 979-2182.

Loren Ashcraft reports that he has received hundreds of photos and slides and has been busily scanning them in to include in the DVD.  However, even with the help of Gary Hansen, there are too many to get scanned in before the reunion.  He needs help.  If you are in the Salt Lake area, have a high speed flatbed scanner (USB not parallel port) and can spare a few hours please contact Loren directly via email Ashcraft@USwest.net or phone (801) 599-1784.

Loren has said he will accept and include pictures right up to the end.  So get them off to him no later than this Saturday.  By the way, if you have not already reserved a copy of the DVD, please send me an email (tim@3tcm.net) to update your status on the web page.  The DVDs are $6.00 each.  You can prepay in advance by sending your money either directly to Loren or to Brent Romney at 5003 Victor St. Dallas, TX 75214.

Please watch your email this coming weekend for one last mailing before the reunion.  There is a slight chance that the location may change.  We simply hadn't anticipated that so many would respond so favorably.  While it's very late to be thinking of this, if you are aware of a large stake center available in the Salt Lake Valley on the night of the 3rd, please let us know so we can consider it.

The reunion will be an exciting event, but we also want to make it a comfortable experience with room for everyone to mingle and enjoy our time together.  Remember, we start at 5:30 with the meet and greet.  We will have reception lines for both President Muren and President Eagar.  The dinner is at 6:30 and we move to the chapel at 7:30.  We will be having a picnic in either Little Cottonwood or Big Cottonwood canyon at noon on Friday.  Watch for next week's email to get the exact location and time of the picnic.

We hope to see you on Friday night, October 3rd at 5:30pm.  Here's the address and directions again: 10375 South 630 East, Sandy - 15 miles south of downtown Salt Lake.  Take exit #297 – 10600 South on the I-15.  Go east 1.5 miles to Leilani Dr.  Turn north 3/10th of a mile.  Check the web page often for the latest news.  It's updated frequently.  Here's the address:  http://3tcm.dock.net/CostaRicaMissionReunion2003.htm

Note: We are aware that some of you receiving this email have already indicated to us that you will not be able to attend.  We hope you don't mind receiving these updates.  We also hope that you will take the time to fill out the online bio if you have not already done so.  We have received tremendous feedback from so many who have said how much they have appreciated you sharing your bios.  You can contribute your bio here: http://3tcm.dock.net/ReunionBio.asp
