Hobbies: Over the years hobbies & interest comprise family activities, including hundreds of piano recitals & performances.  I have been an assistant soccer and baseball coach.  In other spare moments, activities have included jogging, hunting and fishing, city league and church league basketball and softball.  Lori and I enjoy reading books together.  This summer we read "Summer of the Monkeys" by Wilson Rawls and we are currently reading Tolkien's "The Hobbit".  And like all parents, my hobbies have included relearning Algebra, Geometry and yes, even Spanish.

Community: As a family we participated in the 2003 "Buckle-Up America" campaign for the State of Wyoming as a seatbelt survivor family.  In 2001 was selected by the Mayor as Co-Chair for the City of Cheyenne United Way Campaign.  I speak at various civic clubs & groups and schools on water and wastewater utility issues.   I'm a member of Leadership Cheyenne of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.  I actively participate in the State Legislative process regarding water and wastewater legislation.

I am appreciative of the Elders and Sisters that I had an opportunity to work with.  I am forever grateful for their faithful example and willingness to serve.  I learned much about service to the Lord and to His children from my companions.  I'm grateful to have served at a time when on June 8, 1978, the announcement was made that all brethren who are worthy may receive the priesthood.
