Bio of Tom Cavanaugh
Since
I was baptized at the age of 20 while fresh in the Air Force, I did not go into
the mission field until the age of 25. I was engaged at the time and was
married two months after my return.
With the gracious work of my wife Colleen receiving her PhT degree, "Putting Hubby Thru" I finished chiropractic school and practiced 11 years in Folsom, California until Colleen and I were called to serve a mission and preside over the Barranquilla, Colombia Mission in South America.
Since we sold our business to serve, we did not have any
more connections to California. Thus, we moved to a Suburb of Spokane,
Washington. Recently I finished an MBA degree and I am trying to figure out the
next career.
We have three daughters, Christina, 23, married and expecting number two. Her husband, Ryan has a construction management degree from BYU but was accepted into CES. Christina will finish her degree in April in Family Marriage and Counseling. Cameron, 21, single and Public Relations major at BYU, Provo. Crystal, 18, single at BYU Idaho.
We have two boys Tom Jr. 17 junior in high school, six foot six and a basketball player and Tim, 14, freshmen, football quarterback and basketball. My wife is as wonderful a woman as when we first met.
See guys, I did marry her and never got a "Dear
John". I look forward to seeing many of my great companions and
missionaries with whom I worked. That two-year experience has always been dear
to my heart.
