Bio of Vicki Spence Stith
Married
Joseph Stith. Children: Britny – 17, Cameron – 15. I met my husband while
attending the Holiday Bowl in San Diego in 1982. It was a lousy game, but was
worth the trip. He was a convert who had
been a Drill Instructor in the Marines.
We became engaged and then I waited for him while he served a mission
(pretty embarrassing to be 28 and waiting for a missionary!) We married a month after he returned. We have been very blessed to have a great
marriage.
Our daughter will be a senior and our son will be a
sophomore at Bingham High School this year. Britny has a beautiful singing voice and is trying to decide where
she wants to go to college. Cameron has
played football for several years, but has a great talent in music as well - so
he switched to the drumline this year.
He also plays trombone, guitar and anything else he chooses to pick up.
Church Service: Have served in all organizations -
(okay, okay, I have not served in the Young Men, Elder's Quorum or High Priest
Quorum). I love working with the youth
and for the last two years have had a great time as Primary Chorister. My husband was just released after serving
as a counselor to the Bishop for five years.
He has now been called as a High Councilman and we are thrilled to have
him sitting with us in church again.
Education: I attended Ricks College. Work: I worked for American Stores as
a Secretary for 5 years and then became an Information Analyst in the computer
dept. for the next 5 years. I finally quit to stay home with the kids. Hobbies: BYU football and anything
the kids are doing. Community
Service: I worked for our middle school for two years - that was an eye opener!
Comps: M. Anderson, B. Stonehocker, M. Parker, H.
Sanchez, M. Townsend, M. Cordon M. Rimshaw, L. Stott, Leda Ramos, B. Young,
Sis. Tinoko. Areas Served: Tegucigalpa,
Panama City, David, Panama. I will
always love that time in my life. I am
grateful for Pres. Muren and the example he set for us. I feel blessed for having been given that
experience and will never forget it.
